FAIL

 Alright, so I totally failed this blogging thing but I have had class and stuff. Not that any of that is an excuse. I kind of lost faith in nails and myself for a little while when I bombed the nails for Carter. Who is here by the way! He was born on the 31st of May, the irony is that I was having an internal pelvic ultrasound while he was being born. TMI? My uncle died soon after that and I had a mess to help clean up in Florida after that upsetting turn of events, so I didn't get to see much of Carter until recently. I am very excited to say that I have stayed with him and Mommy Morgan, both of them are doing well, and I got to change diapers and feed him, being a real aunt! I am going to update my books post as much as I can remember, I am hoping to start reading more as summer courses take up a lot of time. Yay!

Carter

I know.... I have not been posting like I promised but my life has taken over a bit. I haven't even been reading that much. :-(
But anyways, this sunday is one of the best friends in the whole world's baby shower. I decided to do nails with him in mind. If they turn out well I will post pictures. I got inspiration from this design. Its going to be similar with only blues and greens because he is a boy. BUT I am not limiting him to those colors. The abstractness is supposed to represent that I don't know what he is going to be yet, and that I can't wait to meet him and find out. :-)

Knowledge

I have recently learned something about myself. It is that while I will do whatever it takes to get a new book as soon as possible, I instantly regret it when I finish the book and it dawns on me how long it will be until I can read the next installment.

Richelle Mead has a lot of new books coming out soon!
 I am very excited for the new Succubus book, Seth is by far my favorite of her characters. But Succubus Revealed doesn't come out until September. Sad. 
Iron Crowned is coming out in March and has an excerpt out. But first I have to read the excerpt at the end of Succubus Shadows. Here is the other excerpt for when you want to read it too.
I absolutely love Richelle Mead, she writes so well and has been essential in developing my reading tastes from purely young adult reading into the adult stuff. I still love fantasy and sci-fi in young adult though.

New stuff!

Guess what I got recently!?!? I got a Saved by the Bell t-shirt, a Percy Jackson shirt, and my first Hot Topic nail polish. Plus a lot of new nail polishes that I am going to use to do a new mani. Should I post pictures?

Promise

It is my goal to write on here at least once a week. Since I am making this promise, my posts might be about absolutely nothing. I can write about the nails and make up looks that I do and post pictures. In addition to my newbie nail and make up posts, I am challenging myself to read one hundred books in this calendar year. I got the idea from Mundie Moms, I am going to start my list here and will update it as I go along. I also might post my personal reviews of books that I have just finished.
